Church inside luxor temple

When the romans were chasing christians across egypt the christians built churches inside the ancient temples. In most cases they defaced the carvings but this time they plastered over them. Most is chipped away, but if you look closely you can see faces on the top left. This might be a last supper scene. That means these ruins represent the ancient egyptian religion, christianity and islam - all three religions throughout the country's history.
