Matthew wasn't feeling up to Toddlers this morning because of his cough so he stayed in the house with Mummy to make teddy bear biscuits. Don't worry - we'll eat all the biscuits so nobody else gets his germs!

Matthew enjoyed visiting lots of different places today and made this pirate hat at the Arts Centre.

Funworld - look up the top

Matthew, Mummy and Daddy cycled from the house to Funworld in Greenock today. Matthew had lots of fun on the big kid climbing frame.

Matthew had a great day out at East Links Family Park in Dunbar and loved his first pony ride on Sophie.

Funny Things Matthew Says

A friend suggested we write these down because one day we might forget:

• Daddy: What did you and Mummy do at the park today?
  Matthew: I saw my Daddy!!!
  Mummy:??????!!!!!!!
• I said NO!
• You're pushing your luck!
• Twinkle, twinkle, chocolate bar (although I think the nursery taught him that one)
• Ginger (the cat)! Those are MY toys!
• When he sees a plane: Bye plane! Happy holiday!

I'm a giraffe!

Matthew had his face painted for the first time at his Nursery Jungle Party today. He chose the design himself and is a giraffe. Honest.

It's Clara's 2nd birthday party today and Matthew is very excited to be going. He is all dressed up and Mummy thinks he looks very handsome.

The sun has got his hat on!

...Or at least it did when this picture was taken. Later on it poured down for a LONG time and Matthew had a lovely day spent in the free play area at the St Enoch Centre and then with the toys in Hamleys. He LOVES Hamleys and we even managed to leave without spending any money!
