This was built around 1500bc but still looks new from this distance. Hatchepsut was a woman ruler when they weren't allowed. She built this temple with scenes showing how the god ra visited her mother and fathered her, meaning she was daughter of ra and could be queen. This wasn't easy for the people to accept so she portrayed herself as a man in her statues and drawings.
