Back to the hospital

Matthew was weighed again this morning (with us being back to weekly weigh-ins as you may recall). He is now 14lbs at 27 weeks, which is apparently rubbish on the growth chart. Matthew is perfectly capable of now sitting up unsupported, rolling over in both directions at will, producing plenty of wet and dirty nappies (sorry but that matters), using fine motor control to pick up his own food and feed it to himself (even mince) and is full enough at bed-time to sleep for about 12 hours most nights. He makes valiant attempts to walk with help, and can stand if supported by, for example, a couch. If you hold his hands he can pull himself up to a standing position and lead you around the room to wherever he wants to walk. He can push himself up on his hands and knees, but not at the same time yet, so is making attempts to crawl.

I would say he's doing everything a baby his age should be doing.

Unfortunately, he's still been referred to the hospital paediatricians again because it's not good enough. He's trying his best but just keeps being sick. He's already on three different types of medicine, sitting up, and eating solids. We carry him for as much of the day as we can to keep him unstressed. What else are we supposed to do?
